FAQ

How accurate is this Google preview?
We render the result card with Google's exact typography and clipping rules: title truncates at ~580px, description at ~920px. The character limits we display (60 and 160) are the well-known equivalents for the average character width — actual results vary slightly based on letter mix.
Why is my title or description being truncated?
Google truncates at a pixel width, not a character count. A title with all W's will truncate around 35 characters; one with all i's will fit 75. Aim for under 60 characters for titles and 160 for descriptions and you'll be safe in 95% of cases.
Do you store or log the URLs I check?
No. URLs are fetched on demand, the analysis is returned, and we do not write them to a database. We do keep a 60-second response cache to keep the tool fast under load.
